Transformer rectifier assemblies are used to convert AC power into unregulated DC power, making them essential in many industrial and OEM applications. They’re available with either single-phase or three-phase input power. While single-phase units produce about 50% output ripple, three-phase units reduce that ripple down to just 5%, which makes them the preferred choice for more precise and efficient operations.
These assemblies combine a transformer and a rectifier to deliver DC output. Users can customize the setup with add-ons like circuit breakers, fuses, voltmeters, and ammeters to match their application needs. The units can be built as open-frame designs or housed in indoor enclosures, depending on the installation environment. Once connected to the correct input power source, the assembly begins supplying steady DC output to the load.
